FIREFIGHTERS were called to a an old folks home in Cudworth after a washing machine burst into flames.
Staff at Belle Greene Court care home called emergency services after the machine caught fire on Sunday at about 6.50pm.
Crews from Cudworth and Barnsley Stations attended but the blaze had already been put out by care workers by the time they arrived.
