DEARNE students dug in together to plant over 400 trees around their college.
Working with the Dearne Valley Eco-Vision team, Wath students planted a variety of native species of trees, that were donated by the Woodland Trust.
Paul Edwards, Dearne Valley College’s head of estates said: “The college is 100 per cent supportive of the eco-vision project. Tree planting is a fantastic way for us to do something lasting and define the many public rights of way on the campus”. The college hopes to secure further trees for planting next Spring as part of the Woodland Trust’s Jubilee Woods project.
