THREE doggy double-acts that were rescued before Christmas need loving new homes for the New Year.
The South Yorkshire English Springer Spaniel Rescue has three pairs of dogs whose owners are all seriously ill.
All six dogs are friendly and house-trained, and are Springers bar little Chance - a Jack Russell who recovered from early ill-treatment but is blind in one eye.
The duos - Logan and Chance, Smudge and Bear, and Alfie and Sweep promise double delight to any kind owner willing to take them in together.
Volunteer Heather Pointer said: “ We’re very busy and have twice the number of dogs our finances allow for, so we really need to find new homes quickly.
“These pairs have swelled our numbers but are also harder to rehome as most people only look for one dog”.
If you could do with a double dose of fun, friendship and life-long devotion of the doggy kind, visit the Rescue website at www.syessr.co.uk and make contact.
